COORDINATION OF IVF TREATMENTS & MEDICINES
Talent IVF Asia arranges all your appointments and treatments directly with our IVF clinic, and also advises and provides all medications.
We accompany you to every appointment, and provide an open dialogue with you, your doctor, and – if you would like – your Surrogate Mother as well.
For those using their own eggs, the first appointment at the hospital will be the Egg Retrieval. This will be five (5) days before the Egg Transfer either to yourself or your Surrogate. If fresh sperm is to be used on the day of Egg Retrieval, the male partner will also give his sperm on this day. Otherwise, frozen sperm will be used from your Sperm Donor.
If you will receive your Donor’s eggs or if you will re-implant your own eggs, during this first appointment you will receive medication, undergo an endometrial or follicle ultrasound, and you may ask any questions directly to the Doctor.
For those using an Egg Donor as well as a Surrogate, you will not need to be personally involved in this part of the process.
Surrogates, mothers using an Egg Donor, and those who are re-implanting their own eggs, will need to take medication at the same time, every day, from the day of Egg Retrieval. You / your Surrogate will be provided with medication up until ten (10) days after the Embryo Transfer as part of your package.
These medications are necessary to prepare and maintain endometrium and hormone levels for embryo implantation and during pregnancy.
Completing your stimulation cycle in your home country
If you have re-implanted your own eggs or received eggs from a Donor, once you have returned to your home country, these medications must be taken for a further eight (8) weeks after a positive pregnancy test.
It is important to check that you can acquire these medications in your home country, as most General Practitioners cannot prescribe them. We help you to coordinate medications with your own doctor, ensuring availability or finding suitable alternatives.
